10 Step Program to Recovery
- Step 1 - We admit we are powerless over our Twitter addiction - that we tweet the most mundane things morning, noon, and night
- Step 2 - Come to believe that a Power greater than social media can restore us to sanity
- Step 3 - Make the decision to turn our Tweets and profiles over to the care of that higher Power
- Step 4 - Make a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves without using Google Search
- Step 5 - Admit to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our Twitter addictions
- Step 6 - Be entirely ready to remove all these social networking defects of character
- Step 7 - Humbly ask the Power to remove our microblogging shortcomings
- Step 8 - Make a list of all persons we have ignored while texting, and be willing to make amends to them all
- Step 9 - Make direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when they are texting others
- Step 10 - Continue to take personal inventory and when we are twittering promptly admit it
